
To receive battle analysis service from onRaid Web Community, you need to transfer battle record file (onRaid.lua) to onRaid server. There are two ways to transfer battle record file which is to use onRaid Uploader, or to request battle analysis service through onRaid Web Community.

In order to install onRaid Uploader, you need to download onRaid Uploader from onRaid download page. Activate downloaded file and set options. Then install will be done automatically.

Saving battle record file (onRaid.lua) is done automatically when you ‘Logout’, ‘Exit Game’ or through ‘Add on Reload’ which is done by other Add on. But when your exit game with an error occurred due to problem of World of Warcraft client, no battle record will be saved to ‘onRaid.lua’ file. Also, there might be a possibility of an error occurrence when you exit game during the battle with boss monster.
onRaid Uploader can only be used after logged in with onRaid account. If you do not have an account, you can create your account in onRaid web community.

onRaid Uploader can be activated as any other applications. When activated, it will be shown as an icon in tray. Click to use it's functions.

onRaid Uploader does not approaches to any file of information in your computer except approaching to onRaid.lua file to transfer collected information from onRaid Add on to onRaid web community.

You can use onRaid account to connect onRaid Uploader. When connected, as you can see on the picture below, dashboard window will be shown for the first time. Your guild name and server name will be shown on the left, with message showing that you are currently using automatic Uploader function.

If you do not wish to use automatic upload function while using onRaid Uploader, you can uncheck ‘automatic upload’ option shown by clicking right mouse button on the tray icon. By that attempt, you can see message ‘automatic uploading mode’ changes to ‘manual uploading mode’. When you see the right part of the window, you can check your version of onRaid Uploader and onRaid addon. When there is new version released, it will automatically update itself to the latest version. If it does not update automatically, you can simply click on ‘Update Now’ button to update your program to its latest version.

In the list below, you can confirm result of battle analysis sent to the server. For more details, please check onRaid web community.

In transfer standby tap, you can review how your battle record file is in progress. And if you are using manual transfer function, it gives you management function which enables you to transfer or delete the file.

If you are using automatic transfer function, you don’t have to click on the transfer button every time you transfer a file. Every time there is new battle log left in battle record file, onRaid Uploader will automatically transfer battle record file to the server. You can see and check your file being transferred and analysis in progress in transfer standby tap.
If you are using manual transfer function, you have to click on the transfer button to transfer battle record file to the analysis server. Before user transfer or delete battle record file, battle record will be saved under transfer standby tap. You can select either transfer or delete the file, but before it’s transferred to the server and gets to analysis process, there is no way to find out contents of the battle record.
In log tap, it stores a short record of onRaid Uploader’s status and progress. This record will be very useful when you are having a problem with finding errors using onRaid Uploader


When you request analysis of battle record through onRaid Uploader or onRaid web community, we first examine the file to see if it’s available to analysis. If it’s available, the analysis process starts and you can check the result in onRaid web community. Battle analysis process and messages are described as follows.
Request to analysis the file has been permitted and successfully transferred to analysis server by onRaid Uploader or onRaid web community. Analysis is in progress or currently standby for analysis. But, since onRaid Uploader updates status in every 30 minutes, the status might not change for 30 minutes.
Battle record file has been successfully transferred to the server but the file is improper and caused an error. The message will only show when transferred file is damaged or wrong. When you transfer a file through webpage, it will show the same message if light version has been used. If file has been damaged during transferring process, it could be fixed through retransferring. But if the file has been damaged in other process, battle record can’t be restored.
This message shows when battle record file is not a latest version. This often occurs when onRaid addon has not been updated to a latest version. In this case, battle record can’t be restored. To avoid having this problem and keep your onRaid addon to the latest version, we recommend you to use onRaid Uploader which manages and automatically updates your version of onRaid addon
You will find this message when there is nothing wrong with the format of file but no battle record has been found in the file. It mostly happens when you are disconnected and file has been sent without having any battle.
This message shows when there is an error in some part or the entire battle record. Battle without error will go through analysis process, but battle record without error can’t be restored.
Analysis of battle record has been completed successfully. You can find analysis of your battle record in onRaid web community

You can request combat log through onRaid web community, without using onRaid Uploader.
To request combat log through webpage, you need to have newest version of onRaid Addon installed. (Light version does not support log analysis) In case if it's not newest version, we can't analysis even the data is uploaded. You also need to have your account in onRaid and that specific account needs to be affiliated with raid group in onRaid web community.
onRaid Addon collects combat logs and creates file named 'onRaid.lua' after disconnecting or exiting World of Warcraft. After that, log into onRaid web community and upload onRaid.lua file to 'Combat Log Management' in 'my raid group' menu. Uploaded file's analysis in progress and result can be checked in the same page.

onRaid Addon not only collects combat logs but also collects other additional data needed in analysis and saves it to file named 'onRaid.lua'. Remember that you can only save your data when disconnecting or exiting World of Warcraft. (You may also save using 'Addon Reload'.) If you disconnect, or disconnect using Add On, Reloading and disconnecting again will overwrite contents to the same file, deleting contents of previous file.
If you do not manage 'onRaid.lua' file after disconnecting, previous combat log can be lost or deleted. So if you want to request your analysis through onRaid web community, you need to take good care of 'onRaid.lua' file. We recommend you to upload immediately through onRaid web community right after disconnecting raid you want us to analysis. If you ever disconnected or forced to disconnect while rading, we recommend you to move your 'onRaid.lua' file to other location or upload it before reconnecting.
'onRaid.lua' file is located in World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\Account Name\Server Name\Character Name\SavedVariables\onRaid.lua.
